GRID from zero, 4 of 7: where your earnings sit

Part 4 of 7 in GRID from zero. Part 3 introduced vaults. This part names the ones that hold what a machine earns.
1. Your GRID wallet · live
This is simply your wallet address, the one you give when your machine joins. Earned GRID lands in it every 6 hours, on Taifoon mainnet, and stays there: it is soulbound.
You will see two numbers for it:
- measured: what the probes have counted and not yet minted
- settled: what has been minted into the wallet
2. A pool · live
A pool is several owners' machines working as one, like a small company. Whoever declares a pool sets its fee: at most 30 % of what the member machines earn. The fee locks when a machine joins and can only be lowered, never raised. Members keep the rest.
A new machine works for Taifoon's founding pool, whose fee is 0 %. You can declare your own pool and invite others.
3. Taifoon's payout vault · building
This is where buyers' money for the machines waits before it is paid out. It pays by proof, inside daily caps, and only to the owner of the work. It is written but not switched on, so no cash leaves it yet.
4. The bonus pools · building
These are budgets set aside to reward joining:
- GRID join bonus: one day of your kind's rate, at your machine's first passing probe
- Installation airdrop: 1,000 USDC in total, one grant per owner wallet, after a full day of passing probes
- FPGA join pool: 1,000 USDC in total for FPGA owners, granted after review
All three are BUILDING: written, not yet funded, not open. None pays until it is funded and opened. Taifoon's own machines are never granted.
Every pool open to join, its fee, its members and what it has earned.
