Finality Bonds are cryptoeconomic alignment mechanisms, not yield instruments. Operators commit FOON against proof output quality. The bond amount determines reward multiplier and network privileges.
Bonds vs. Traditional Staking
Unlike passive yield staking, Finality Bonds require active participation — operators must generate valid proofs to earn rewards. The bond is collateral against proof quality, not a yield-bearing deposit. All thresholds scaled to 1B FOON total supply.
