What X1 EcoChain Testnet actually is, right now.
X1 EcoChain's Maculatus testnet (chain_id 10778) is registered in Taifoon's header collector alongside 57 other networks — every block indexed, MMR-proven, and threaded into the same V5 SuperRoot the moment it lands. Every figure on this page is pulled live, at request time, from X1 EcoChain's own RPC and Blockscout-compatible explorer — not a cached snapshot from an announcement.
Real indexing state, pulled from the SuperRoot.
X1 EcoChain Testnet has a real MMR peak in Taifoon's V5 SuperRoot — 1,235 twigs, 2,530,529 blocks and counting.
Classified under DEPTH_BASED.

What Taifoon does with this chain.
X1 EcoChain's blocks feed the same MMR indexing pipeline and V5 SuperRoot as every other chain Taifoon tracks — a real, re-syncable archive from day one of the integration, not a one-off script.
It currently classifies under Taifoon's DEPTH_BASED finality type — the same bucket as Bitcoin, Gnosis, Polygon, and Fantom, reflecting the block-depth-based confirmation model a standard Geth EVM chain uses today. If X1 EcoChain's mainnet ships with a distinct, publicly documented consensus mechanism, this page's classification updates to match — Taifoon's finality registry is built to add named types exactly like it did for HOTSHOT and ARB_BOLD.
An open door, not a commitment.
Taifoon already runs Espresso Network's HotShot sequencer as a named V5 finality type (see the Espresso dossier). If X1 EcoChain's mainnet adopts a shared-sequencer or restaking-based finality layer as part of its Q3 2026 launch, Taifoon's HOTSHOT integration is a real, working template for exactly that kind of proof — this is an open door, not a commitment either side has made.
