tICP ICP Taifoon

ICP Taifoon (tICP) is ICP from the Internet Computer on Base, Arc and Robinhood Chain. A deposit of ICP, proven on chain against the Internet Computer's own NNS signature, releases the same amount of tICP; returning tICP releases the ICP, less the ledger fee. Issued by Taifoon, not by DFINITY.

This page is the reference for explorers, wallets, token lists, aggregators and exchanges. Everything on it can be checked on chain or in a public repository.

Contract	A plain ERC-20. No owner, no minting, no burning, no freezing, no blocklist, not upgradeable. Its whole supply was created once, at deployment.
Total supply, per chain	613,000,000 tICP: the ICP ledger's total supply on 2026-10-05 (557,203,525, rounded up) plus 10% for ICP's inflation. ICP has no hard cap.
Circulating supply	The total supply less the three reserves below. It equals the ICP held in custody for that chain.

Where the supply is held

Every token not in circulation sits in one of three contracts that no key can take from. Tokens only ever move towards the gate, in bounded amounts.

Working vault · 1,000,000	`0xE9dE4d1bfaBacd2495D585BE2290c296A765226A` · Base · Arc · Robinhood Chain Pays out only when the gate asks, against a proven deposit: 1,000 a day plus 10% of what is in circulation, at most 100,000 a day.
Cold reserve · 556,203,525	`0xeBC30502f9dFcC3d1C297c5A7f4d8ac19dC009a5` · Base · Arc · Robinhood Chain Feeds the working vault only: at most 1,000,000 per 7 days, when the timelock asks.
Surplus reserve · 55,796,475	`0x91d37b663877025bc5D3f91fD2Cf0e5c9804BC5C` · Base · Arc · Robinhood Chain Feeds the cold reserve only: at most 5,000,000 per 30 days. Held for ICP's inflation.

Moving a reserve's destination takes 14 days and can be cancelled in that time by a second party, Safe 0x903D2AA56c174BA06eF00D4adB7ea1c123aD3D1c.

Code and audits	taifoon-eco repository: `contracts/token/`, `contracts/icp/ICPReleaseGate.sol`; deployment record and four audit passes in `deploy/icp/`.

Status

Base, Arc and Robinhood Chain: deployed and verified 2026-10-05, same addresses. Releases open once the custody canister is pointed at the gate.
The previous tICP, 0xa3B2eB502006369581eDD898d22ca559e64f8c07, is retired: it no longer mints, and every one of it can still be redeemed for ICP or moved to this token through the bridge.
