Taifoon Commands for the Jupiter CLI

Why a terminal

Trading agents on Solana already live in the terminal, and Jupiter's CLI is where many of them route swaps. If an agent wants to show that a trade really happened, at the slot it says, the proof should be one command away from the swap, not a separate integration.

What the pull request adds

A jup taifoon command group, submitted to jup-ag/cli:

• jup taifoon proof --slot N fetches a proof for a Solana slot. This one calls the live API.
• jup taifoon report takes an entry and an exit, fetches a proof for each slot, and computes the result in basis points. Submitting the report on chain is still to do.
• subscribe, register, leaderboard and stats are scaffolding: the command shapes are there, and the output is sample data until they are wired to the layer.

A second group, jup chain, sketches how a new chain would ask to be collected. Its backend moved, and nothing in /v1 replaces chain submission yet.

How it maps onto the coordination API

The PR was written in March, before the coordination layer had one front door. Moving it onto /v1 is mostly a change of URL:

• proof becomes taifoon.io/v1/root/proof/200/:slot, or /v1/proof/verifiable/200 for the newest provable slot.
• register becomes POST /v1/agents/register, an ERC-8004 agent card.
• stats becomes GET /v1/agents/who/:address.
• subscribe becomes /v1/stream, once trading signals are one of its lanes.

Solana is one of the 61 chains under the root. Its blocks carry finality type 14, Solana's tower consensus. Transaction-level proofs are EVM-only today, so a proof of one Solana transaction, not just its slot, is still to come.

Where it stands

Open since 27 March 2026. No maintainer has reviewed it, and Jupiter has not endorsed it. We will move it onto /v1 and post here when that changes.
