One box, four kinds of thing

Paste anything that names a place on chain. Search works out what it is, then asks every chain at once and lists each chain that answers.

  1. Address

Its balance and activity on every chain it has touched, whether it is a wallet or a contract, and its name when the address is known.

    Try vitalik.eth’s wallet →
  2. Transaction

The chain it ran on, what it did in plain words, and the tokens it moved.

Try a WETH transfer on Ethereum →
  3. Name

The address an ENS name points to, then that address on every chain.

    Try vitalik.eth →
  4. Block

That height on every chain that has reached it, with its time and its transactions.

    Try block 26,121,498 →

Every chain the root covers

A search does not ask you to pick a chain. It reads all of these in one pass, the same chains whose block headers make up the root.

From a find to a proof

A search tells you where something is. The next two steps tell you it happened, and what it meant.

  1. Find

Search shows which chain holds the transaction or the block, and when.

  2. Prove

Prove that block or transaction against the root, and check the proof in your browser.

    Open the proof explorer →
  3. Read

Read the protocol event in one form, without the contract’s code.

    Open Intel →

[ THE COLUMN SETTLES ]

A column of cells settling into the rootRoot
What you found drops down its column and folds into the root: one hash over every chain, sealed every 10 seconds.
